Head of Ministry of Interior of Russia Rashid Nurgaliev met federal personnel reserve of RF Ministry of Interior

On the Day of knowledge, the RF Minister of Interior General of the Army Rashid Nurgaliev visited the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Interior of Russia where he met heads of law enforcement bodies included in the federal personnel reserve of the Ministry of Interior of Russia.

During their retraining course the heads of militia bodies will obtain knowledge in the field of building up an efficient system of administration at law enforcement bodies and get skills of taking advantage of modern management instruments and the ability to apply them relying on advanced information technologies.

The training will comprise lectures, seminars and practical exercises, round table meetings, war practices and operative games with modeling elements.

Special attention will be given to the organization activity of heads of federal and regional echelons of the system of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, the development of an algorithm of making administration-specific decisions under various conditions of activity of the law enforcement bodies.

Addressing the course participants, the Head of the Ministry of Interior of Russia Rashid Nurgaliev emphasized that the level of competence reached just several years before was not enough for a contemporary chief. An important step on the way of shaping a principally new chief is the creation of the Federal Personnel Reserve which has positively influenced the formation of the professional core of law enforcement bodies as a whole. Many employees have ambitions for a successful service career, for the perfection of their professional skills and knowledge. The motivation and the commitment have also increased.

During the conversation the Minister of Interior told the participants of the meeting about the course of reform of the Ministry of Interior and summed up its intermediate results. The Head of the Ministry of Interior of Russia especially addressed the developed project of the federal law "About police". According to Rashid Nurgaliev, the presentation of the draft law for the wide public discussion is an unprecedented step and should help perform the overall mission of the protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens in full. Thereupon, the Head of the Ministry of Interior of Russia urged to speed up the work done to prevent and disclose crimes.

Besides, issues of high-quality selection of young employees for law enforcement bodies will be under close attention. According to the Minister, "the law enforcement bodies need real experts, who made a sincere decision to selflessly serve the society and to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens through and through".

"We need not casual people,"  emphasized the Head of the Ministry of Interior of Russia.

Speaking about the reduction of the staff size of the law enforcement bodies, Rashid Nurgaliev paid attention to the necessity of the militia managerial bodies' active participation in provision of the further employment of dismissed employees. The Minister informed the participants of the meeting that he had already sent letters with corresponding requests to heads of RF constituents.

Also, Rashid Nurgaliev answered questions of the special course participants and wished them good luck in their studies.
