Not an easy test was prepared yesterday for the seniors of School # 97 of the city of Izhevsk. The students of a career-oriented law enforcement class took a qualification exam for the right to wear the "Black Beret. The exam was supervised by the Special Forces officers of Russia's MVD for the Udmurt Republic.
For several years, in late January the camp "Cheryomushki" has been bringing together the legal classes students of this school who take a kind of examination in sports training, endurance, and their preparedness to wear black berets.
The students made a long route march of 7 kilometers to reach the camp from the city. Here, in the camp, the students had to pass several stages where the main thing was to stand up and gain confidence in their abilities. One after another, they went through the obstacle course complicated by the use of imitation explosives, demonstrated knowledge of small arms assembling and disassembling them for time. The final stage was a demonstration of unarmed combat techniques.
All 20 seniors passed the exam with good results. The officers of the Personnel Department of Russia's MVD for Udmurtia and Special Forces officers supervising the exam congratulated the future defenders of motherland on this significant event in their life and solemnly handed the black berets over to them.
